How to Train Your Dragon TV Series Coming to Cartoon Network

How to Train Your Dragon is being turned into a weekly cartoon tv series. The show is set to premiere on Cartoon Network sometime in 2012. Seems like a lot of shows are being based off book series and movies lately, but just because they are not entirely fresh does not mean they are not worthwhile. The series should be an interesting expansion on the adventure that takes places in the movie. I have not seen the actual movie, but I did enjoy the little shorts that were used as promotionals during the Olympics. Thus I see the series as having potential because they already have at least done it as interstitials. Plus Dreamworks has already somewhat successfully made the Penguins of Madagascar show come out of the Madagascar movies.
